HISINGEN GDS är ett litet GÖR DET SJÄLV tryckeri från Göteborg som sysslar med screentryck på tyg, vinyl och papper. Ett hantverk som håller på att ersättas med digtitaliserade screentryckerier och det försöker vi motarbeta. Det finns alltid ett plagg som behöver en patch eller ett tråkigt elskåp som behöver piffas upp med en klibba så vi kommer att utöka utbudet med jämna mellanrum.

Det mesta vi trycker upp själva och säljer vidare riktar sig mot folk som lyssnar på hårdare form av punk och hardcore samt till de som har en realistisk och kritisk syn på hur denna världen sköts. Men vi samarbetar även med konstnärer så hör av dig ifall du har intresset att måla. Vi är alltid i behov av nya motiv.

Hoppas du hittar nåt intressant på denna sida. Och glöm aldrig att öppna det kritiska ögat.

Bored Teenagers

Back in cold Sweden again. R.I.P

It's always nice to come home again after having been out on the roads. We had a blast and the United States lived up to my expectations and more. I really hope to go back soon again. Thanks to everyone who made ​​this tour possible! Foat, my main man, love ya even more now after I met you in person. We saw and played with so many awesome bands, and we slept at some cool houses too. We eat nothing but junk though. Hehe. It was so much fun to finally meet everyone that I only had contact with in person. Thanks for all your support, it means alot. My camera broke down in Portland and I have had very limited access to the internet, but I have some photos that I might post shortly...

Well back home, I was greeted by very very sad news. An old and good friend of mine passed away while we were in the states. I have him to thank for a lot and you could say that he was my mentor when I started to release records in the mid/late 90s. We had many collaborations in the beginning and he taught me a lot. If it wasn't for him, maybe it wouldn't have been any D&R Rec. today. We didn't have that good contact the last few years, but we talked on the phone as recently as six months ago. As always, he was excited about everything, and he had just set up his recording equipment again. I will truly miss him and our long conversations about punk, releases and devotion. Rest in peace my friend, see you on the other side!

It only took 24h and 1min from Rissne centrum via Chicago and Seattle to Anza Club, Vancouver. Fucking bizzare trip. I'm having a cold, maybe not the best start on a two weeks tour. Our show last night got canceled too. Double duh. But we're playing tonight instead. Time for afternoone show with Condition, Hoax etc... Smell ya later.

D&R SHOP/MAIL IS NOW CLOSED FOR THREE WEEKS!!!

The D&R shop/mail is now officially closed for at least three weeks ahead and I don't know how often I will have access to a computer and internet. No orders will be handled during this period as you might understand. I will take care of all mails/orders as soon as I'm back and back in bizz. To all my american and canadian friends, come join us on the road to mangel.


Speaking of previous post, just got this hilarious video in the mail (thanks David!). Maybe you can relate and understand my frustration with the way it looks today with all this "new" technology and cell-phone/internet abuse a little better after you've seen it. I feel like the girl who plays the lead role among my friends at times.
