Two weeks (or longer) of total isolation...

For the first time in my entire life I will pay my family 100% attention and full focus. They have always been suffered by my choices in the past and it's time to begin to prioritize the most important thing in my life for once. Have patience, good things take time, people need to start learning that in this fucked up and stressful society. That it may take some time to get an answer to your emails and orders are nothing new for loyal friends and supporters of D&R, and with time, it feels like that more people have accepted this. It's not news that I have become increasingly disgusted with the internet sphere and its surrounding in recent years. I dont belong here.
I will clean up my inbox this upcoming weekend, expect no response after that. With pleasure will I turn off the computer and have it turned off for an indefinite period. The Dropend 7" and Mob 47 2x12" re-press will be out in mid december, I'll keep you all posted for sure. Thanks for your understanding. Til next time, up the nature/punx!

Warvictims recorded a few new war-tunes earlier this year and they turned out better then expected. Exclusively for the die hard fans of Annihilation Radio we shared one of the songs taken from an upcoming planned cassette release. More info about that one later... Dropend also agreed to let the listeners hear one more song from their new 7inch "Distortion Hell" as well.

Annihilation Radio have had a few weeks vacation, but is now back again to treat you all with some trve damage and pleasure for your ears. A great start at the beginning of each new week. As always, play it loud!

HISINGEN GDS är ett litet GÖR DET SJÄLV tryckeri från Göteborg som sysslar med screentryck på tyg, vinyl och papper. Ett hantverk som håller på att ersättas med digtitaliserade screentryckerier och det försöker vi motarbeta. Det finns alltid ett plagg som behöver en patch eller ett tråkigt elskåp som behöver piffas upp med en klibba så vi kommer att utöka utbudet med jämna mellanrum.

Det mesta vi trycker upp själva och säljer vidare riktar sig mot folk som lyssnar på hårdare form av punk och hardcore samt till de som har en realistisk och kritisk syn på hur denna världen sköts. Men vi samarbetar även med konstnärer så hör av dig ifall du har intresset att måla. Vi är alltid i behov av nya motiv.

Bored Teenagers

Back in cold Sweden again. R.I.P

It's always nice to come home again after having been out on the roads. We had a blast and the United States lived up to my expectations and more. I really hope to go back soon again. Thanks to everyone who made ​​this tour possible! Foat, my main man, love ya even more now after I met you in person. We saw and played with so many awesome bands, and we slept at some cool houses too. We eat nothing but junk though. Hehe. It was so much fun to finally meet everyone that I only had contact with in person. Thanks for all your support, it means alot. My camera broke down in Portland and I have had very limited access to the internet, but I have some photos that I might post shortly...

Well back home, I was greeted by very very sad news. An old and good friend of mine passed away while we were in the states. I have him to thank for a lot and you could say that he was my mentor when I started to release records in the mid/late 90s. We had many collaborations in the beginning and he taught me a lot. If it wasn't for him, maybe it wouldn't have been any D&R Rec. today. We didn't have that good contact the last few years, but we talked on the phone as recently as six months ago. As always, he was excited about everything, and he had just set up his recording equipment again. I will truly miss him and our long conversations about punk, releases and devotion. Rest in peace my friend, see you on the other side!

It only took 24h and 1min from Rissne centrum via Chicago and Seattle to Anza Club, Vancouver. Fucking bizzare trip. I'm having a cold, maybe not the best start on a two weeks tour. Our show last night got canceled too. Double duh. But we're playing tonight instead. Time for afternoone show with Condition, Hoax etc... Smell ya later.

The D&R shop/mail is now officially closed for at least three weeks ahead and I don't know how often I will have access to a computer and internet. Speaking of previous post, just got this hilarious video in the mail (thanks David!). Maybe you can relate and understand my frustration with the way it looks today with all this "new" technology and cell-phone/internet abuse a little better after you've seen it. I feel like the girl who plays the lead role among my friends at times.

Sex Dwarf 7" is NOT officially released yet, but soon enough! Me and Konto Crasher (US release) agreed that the band could start sell em at their show last week. We also agreed that we should release this vinyl 7" together as a team since its a split release. There is two versions available, 500x black, 200x grey. Feels like I wrote this a million times, but there are still some who don't understand how things are. I have this blog and my e-mail, that you'll find on the right side of this post, thats it. These I don't even use/check at daily basis anymore, so it make no sense to create more accounts. Then I'm not so comfortable to share my personal life with strangers. No offense, just that integrity has become more and more important to me how I see my friends and acquaintances seeking confirmation and getting lost in the cyber space. With that being said, please stop confusing me with others online, its NOT me!
And to create a D&R facebook page to sell more records and reach a wider audience is to go against my own beliefs of running a label.

I might be the worst businessman ever, I know, but my dedication is one hundred procent for real. It's not that I ignore you all on purpose I just trying to survive the everyday life and right now I'm more or less out of order both physically and mentally. Constantly tired and barely any strength to do anything with no inspiration nor motivation what so ever. Just a confused and blank mind that mix things up.
I think it's important to just live without any demands sometimes too. It was over a week ago I was on the internet and checked my email latest. Sorry. For band related stuff, please find band contact mail if it's urgent.
I really needed/need some time-off from everything. I'm only human, not a machine. I will answer as much as I have time and energy for today and tomorrow then I will go undercover and underground again for a while. Anyone who has paid their pre-orders will obviously get their stuff as soon as I got it all, don't you worry about that. I feel tremendous freedom of not being tied up to the internet and not have to check my email every day, please understand and respect that. I do the best I can. Don't worry, I'm fine now but I have been totally passed out (and fucked up). I found so many mails in my inbox when I got back from the hospital but I had no energy to even lift my fingers. Sorry. I'm back on my feet from today and I'll do my best to catch up this upcoming 2-3 days. That's all you need to know.

Queen (among angels)

It's been a year since my beloved grandmother passed away, and believe me when I say that there has been a turbulent year in so many ways. When I started the recording of "Order from disorder" my grandmother was still alive. For many reasons, it took over a years to complete the recording and it was obvious that I would use this lyric/song in memory of her. I can for sure say that she wouldn't like the song, but still felt very proud and honored. She would often say to me that if you were not afraid of the dark before you heard my music that you would be afterwards. Not a day goes by without me thinking of her and everything that she gave.
So here it is, the first sample from the new Electric Funeral cassette. Nothing at all like my previous songs but I hope you all like it anyway. The cassette will be released 1st of July.

Jag vet inte om det är senaste numret av Kalle Anka & co eller dagens lokaltidning som jag läser till morgonkaffet. Sitter i mina egna tankar och bläddrar slött mellan sidorna tills jag når Kultur/Nöje och läser, jag citerar, "Crustpunk är dåligt spelad dödsmetall".
Det är svårt att inte sätta kaffet i fel strupe och vika sig dubbel av skratt. För mig blir det rätt komiskt, näst intill ironiskt när man då sett/hört hans (som uttalar sig) så kallade "metalband". Vi kan nog alla enas om att dom direkt kvalar in till att titulera sig som ett crustband om man ska ta hans egna ord på fullaste allvar. Haha. Seriöst, va ska man säga? Kanske ordspråket Kasta inte sten i glashus skulle kunna passa in i sammanhanget?

Dom säger att ett gott skratt förlänger livet. En tackar allra ödmjukast för att ni gjort mitt liv ytterligare en vecka längre. Jag sveper sista slatten av kaffet och sträcker mig efter den akustiska gitarren som ligger på soffan. Här ska fan göras dödsmetallriff som senare ska spelas dåligt i goda vänners lag.

INFERNÖH - 7 SPÅR E.P. 12"

I thought that Infernöh would be in a difficult position to follow up their debut. I got weak at the knees the first time they shared these new songs with me. Once again they show us all how real classic swedish hardcore mangel is supposed to be played. Intense, aggressive and loud! If you ask me I would say that Jonas (drums) is by far one of the best drummers we have up to date. The whole band complement each other which makes the outcome tight and ragging.

The US version is released today by Distort Reality, just in time for their US-tour. We, the europeans, will have to wait patiently for about another month. The European version have a slightly different artwork, it will be pressed in 600copies (500x black, 100x limited mailorder edition on red/black splatter vinyl). Pre-orders are welcome, but since we had lots of problems last time with people making pre-orders but never paid nor returning our mails, this time around you pay at the same time as the pre-order is made. Than there is no turning back and I can avoid unnecessary headaches.

Ever since I saw Mapei's music video for Video Vixen about five years ago I have worshiped the ground she walks on. She have more balls than the Swedish national football team. I start to slowly regain control after the home renovation. It is still very much to do so it will probably take 2-3 days before I have time to sit down and answer all emails/orders. I have tons of other catching up to do, not only label/band related. Hang in there.

Weekend madness + february mailorder

By far the best hardcore seven inch I've heard in years, okey months. Really intense and furious songs including all "must haves" needed in a classic hardcore song. When a friend told me about Coke Bust the first time I thought he said "Cock Bust", what a worthless band name was all I could think about.
Another kick-ass band that you really need to check up is Side Effects from Oakland, US. I demand you! I have listen to their cassette lp more than 25-30 times in the past week. Am not kidding. Am pretty convinced that these two bands will give you a pleasant friday.

New mailorder zine for february is out, besides the updated distro list there's an interview with Martyrdöd, which 12" should be out next week (I'll keep you posted). But also Sound Pollution's record of the month + more punk related stuff. Free with orders, not for sale!

This is the US version on random colored vinyl (ranging from Green to Grey to Maroon to Pink). In a gatefold cover with a different layout than the Europe version. Pressed in a quantity of 464. I only got a very few copies for sale! 130sek + postage. We also have the new Herätys 7", Institution 12", Pusrad 12" and Folkeiis 7" in stock.

Finally!!! Am so tired of all the problems around this recording. But finally we have a master that will blow up speakers and that is not thanks to us, well maybe a little bit, but to Yeap for raw punk mixing and Kenko for his mastering skills. Thanks to j for the help tonight as well. Cheers!

New for this year is that we will start with a mailorder mini-zine where you will find our latest updated distrolist but also D&R related news, short interviews and more mangel. These news papers will come first week of each month. They are for free with all orders over 50sek while supplies last. No. 1 contains 12-pages with Krömosom, N.D.T, Infernöh/Glueman, top 11+3 list by Per/Sex Dwarf....
No contents in these newsletter will be published on the blog. A small benefit to everyone who supports us to show our gratitude. And believe me, there will be a lot of exclusive privileges in the future.

Martyrdöd test presses was approved and in production, hopefully it won't be that much longer until it's out. That was the good news. Bad news is that we ain't satisfied with how Parasit test press sounded so a new mixing/mastering and test presses will be made. As you can imagine, this will take some extra time, so the vinyl will probably not be released until march-april.

TP's for Dispose 12" and Institution 7" are being made as we speak. More info will come. Oh, and before I forget, thank you all for your support in 2012! We have lots and lots of amazing secrets behind the curtains so am pretty sure 2013 will be even a better d-beat and raw punk year. You'll notice.
