Back in cold Sweden again. R.I.P

It's always nice to come home again after having been out on the roads. We had a blast and the United States lived up to my expectations and more. I really hope to go back soon again. Thanks to everyone who made ​​this tour possible! Foat, my main man, love ya even more now after I met you in person. We saw and played with so many awesome bands, and we slept at some cool houses too. We eat nothing but junk though. Hehe. It was so much fun to finally meet everyone that I only had contact with in person. Thanks for all your support, it means alot. My camera broke down in Portland and I have had very limited access to the internet, but I have some photos that I might post shortly...

Well back home, I was greeted by very very sad news. An old and good friend of mine passed away while we were in the states. I have him to thank for a lot and you could say that he was my mentor when I started to release records in the mid/late 90s. We had many collaborations in the beginning and he taught me a lot. If it wasn't for him, maybe it wouldn't have been any D&R Rec. today. We didn't have that good contact the last few years, but we talked on the phone as recently as six months ago. As always, he was excited about everything, and he had just set up his recording equipment again. I will truly miss him and our long conversations about punk, releases and devotion. Rest in peace my friend, see you on the other side!

It only took 24h and 1min from Rissne centrum via Chicago and Seattle to Anza Club, Vancouver. Fucking bizzare trip. I'm having a cold, maybe not the best start on a two weeks tour. Our show last night got canceled too. Double duh. But we're playing tonight instead. Time for afternoone show with Condition, Hoax etc... Smell ya later.

D&R SHOP/MAIL IS NOW CLOSED FOR THREE WEEKS!!!

The D&R shop/mail is now officially closed for at least three weeks ahead and I don't know how often I will have access to a computer and internet. No orders will be handled during this period as you might understand. I will take care of all mails/orders as soon as I'm back and back in bizz. To all my american and canadian friends, come join us on the road to mangel.


Speaking of previous post, just got this hilarious video in the mail (thanks David!). Maybe you can relate and understand my frustration with the way it looks today with all this "new" technology and cell-phone/internet abuse a little better after you've seen it. I feel like the girl who plays the lead role among my friends at times.

Sex Dwarf 7" is NOT officially released yet, but soon enough! Me and Konto Crasher (US release) agreed that the band could start sell em at their show last week. We also agreed that we should release this vinyl 7" together as a team since its a split release. There is two versions available, 500x black, 200x grey. I will post a picture of the vinyls + further info as soon as it's out. Have patience, any day now.

* Facebook = Just not interested, it feels superficial and I'll get the important info else where for sure. Chasing "likes", like who the fuck cares? For real. Couldn't care less.
* Instagram = I could give you more than ten different reasons why I will never use instagram. I don't even own a cell-phone to begin with.
* Twitter = What is it good for? Like a blog but with no pictures I was told. Don't follow any nor use it anyway...
* Paypal = Sorry, still don't have it.

Feels like I wrote this a million times, but there are still some who don't understand how things are. I have this blog and my e-mail, that you'll find on the right side of this post, thats it. These I don't even use/check at daily basis anymore, so it make no sense to create more accounts. Then I'm not so comfortable to share my personal life with strangers. No offense, just that integrity has become more and more important to me how I see my friends and acquaintances seeking confirmation and getting lost in the cyber space. With that being said, please stop confusing me with others online, its NOT me!
And to create a D&R facebook page to sell more records and reach a wider audience is to go against my own beliefs of running a label.

In exactly two weeks I will fly to Usa/Canada to tour with Desperat, Mob 47 and Koszmar. Stoked! The road to mangel starts right here. Therefore, I will shut down the store for nearly a month starting next week. So if you want some records now is the time, if you dont wanna wait until sep/oct. No orders will be sent until its paid, have that in mind.

This blog has always been and will always be on my terms. I write what I feel and when I feel like it. Up the nature punx!
